Just a few things that describe me best!

I grew up doing as many sports as possible. I started with ballet and gymnastics, then moved on to ice skating, a little volleyball and basketball (recreationally), and then I found my true love: running.

One of my best friends invited me to race some boys at lunchtime in the seventh grade, and after we both beat them (by quite a bit I must say), we decided to start a track team since our school didn’t have one.

After that, I never looked back. I ran track and cross-country all through college until my senior year when I had to limp to the finish line during a race because my Achilles tendonitis had flared up so bad I couldn’t put any weight on it. It might have been that very moment that really defined my next 10+ years.
